Story Of This Movie
Yuta Okkotsu, a high school student, is constantly teased until one day when his bullies are cruelly murdered by a Cursed Spirit that attaches to him. The boy's curse is a terrible spirit, and the leaders of the Jujutsu Society want to murder him. Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu Technical High, convinces Yuta to enrol there, saving him. Yuta says that Rika, a childhood friend he had vowed to marry when they were adults, is the Cursed Spirit. After dying in an unusual accident, Rika developed into an overly protective ghost who hurts everyone who poses a threat to him. Yuta meets fellow pupils Panda, Toge Inumaki, and Maki Zen'in, all of whom have unique talents of their own.

Yuta successfully summons Rika on his own for the first time to save them from a Cursed Spirit during his first assignment with Maki. After three months of schooling, he becomes close friends with Maki, Inumaki, and Panda. One day, while working with Inumaki on an assignment, the boys come under attack from a powerful Curse. Suguru Geto, a former pupil and close friend of Gojo's who was expelled from the school after accidently killing over a hundred innocent people following a disagreement with his predisposition, was the perpetrator of the incident. In order to use his method of absorbing Cursed Spirits and so relieve their suffering, Geto covertly founded a sect to aid those same distressed people in the hereafter.
Geto tries to convince Yuta to join him so they may utilise Rika, but when he criticises Yuta's friends because of the uncertain situation, Yuta rejects him. Geto vows war in order to open a portal to the underworld; to rid the city of non-sorcerer humans whom he views as undeserving and beneath them, he will cast a thousand curses. However, Geto's true motivation for starting the conflict is to divert Gojo so that he can kill Yuta and use Rika as strength. After learning about Yuta's past, Gojo recognises this and sends Inumaki and Panda back to the school to watch over Yuta and Maki on the night of Geto's attack. All of them are defeated by Geto, leaving just Yuta alive after his failed attempt to free Rika.
Gojo affirms that Yuta, and not the other way around, was the one who accidentally cursed Rika through unspecified ties to royal bloodlines within the hierarchy of Japan's caste system by being unwilling to accept her demise. After making a promise to Rika, Yuta removed the curse, allowing her to die away quietly as he continued his sorcerer training inside the institution. END
